I have been involved with SPLAT ! and TATU for the past three years and have had the most amazing experiences. During my three years I have taught many TATU classes to 5th and 6th graders and have also helped to lead and teach at TATU peer educator trainings. I enjoy getting involved in my community; being a member of SPLAT! has offered me many opportunities to be involved in community activities including wrapping daffodils and helping host middle school dances. |
| I really like being a part of SPLAT! because it is a place that I can do something for my community that really makes at difference and is something that I’m passionate about! |

One of my friends started smoking cigarettes and I told him thatt smoking is stupid. Another friend overheard that conversation and asked me if I'd like to join SPLAT! Being in SPLAT! has made a bigger impact in my life than I ever thought it could. It's a fun way to do community service as well as speak out for something that I believe in! |

SPLAT! and TATU! have become a big part of my life. I joined this group to help others, especially young kids, learn about the dangers of tobacco use before they are exposed to tobacco negatively. I am passionate about being tobacco free because I strongly believe that tobacco is dangerous and I have seen it affect lots of people’s lives in negative ways. To sum it up I love playing a role in positively affecting kids’ lives through education. |

I saw SPLAT! as a chance of a lifetime and took that chance. I like chillin' with cool people, eating good food, and last but not least meeting girls… LOL… No, seriously, I’m here to help prevent people from trying tobacco and help the people who smoke to quit. |

I like being in SPLAT! because I earn community service hours which count towards my school requirements. Also, preventing tobacco use matters to me because it seem like lots of people at my school smoke, and also my birth mom smokes so I want to be able to help them quit. |
